Galunggung Mountain

Galunggung Mountain a category strato volcano (volcano-like cone) with a height of 2167 meters above sea level (asl) or about 1820 feet above the plains of Tasikmalaya. Historically, the mountain which occupies an area approximately 275 miles of this had erupted several times. First erupted on October 18, 1882 and last erupted on April 5, 1982.
